My name is Muamisse Vasco, I am from Mozambique Island. I started living in Nampula in 1989. When my father passed away, I only lived with my mother and she started doing business, she made “badjias” and cakes then instructed me to sell, that is how I began to have experience doing business.

When I got married, because I already had experience in doing business, I started to develop my own business, I initially sold “paparri”(dried fish), maize flour, and tomatoes. In 2014 I was introduced to the Bank. I was able to open my grocery store thanks to the support of the Bank.

For this I am grateful for the bank’s support, my children are able to study and my life is growing. Before I became a client of the Bank my house was built of "matope" but now I have managed to build my brick house, buy a freezer, and a fridge.

I am helping my family, my children go to school. I am happy with the Bank's support, because the Bank has always helped improve my life.
